The Coronavirus pandemic has changed all of our lives in innumerable ways. Weddings and photo sessions have been especially impacted. Many have been postponed or canceled outright. While this may prove to be challenging for most, for Becky and Ben, postponing their wedding created a unique opportunity.
Exactly one year before their new wedding date, they were able to hold a small wedding ceremony with a few family and friends at the summer camp where they met as teenagers. This gave special meaning to both the date and location of their first wedding ceremony.
I could tell as soon as I saw Becky and Ben together that they were going to be a joy to photograph. The way they looked at each other, you could just tell they were truly in love.
After their ceremony, we ventured out around the campground for a few portraits. One location of special note was the large Star of David that adorned the entrance to the camp. Ben was among the group that built that star when he attended the camp.
