Melissa and Cody were married in a small, intimate ceremony witnessed by a few of their close family and friends at Whispering Trees Manor. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the larger wedding ceremony and reception had to be postponed but they wanted to have a smaller ceremony on their original wedding date. We spent a little time after their ceremony exploring the grounds and finding some fun photo spots. I’m really looking forward to photographing their full ceremony and reception later this year.

[…] Melissa and Cody first contacted me back in January of 2020 to photograph their wedding later that year. As we all know, 2020 had other plans for us. Due to the pandemic, and concerns for Melissa’s father who was diagnosed with ALS, we rearranged things a bit and did a micro-wedding on their original wedding date so that her father could be there and walk her down the aisle. Now that the pandemic is mostly in our rear-view mirror and we can safely gather again, Melissa and Cody gathered up all of their family and friends to do it again and celebrate the way weddings are supposed to be celebrated.
