Kristen + David | Downtown Cleveland Engagement Session

I met up with Kristen and David on a gorgeous summer evening in Downtown Cleveland for their engagement session. East 9th Street Pier and Voinovich Park provided some great views of the city skyline as well as our beautiful Lake Erie. After a quick change of outfits, we hopped over to the home of the Cleveland Browns, FirstEnergy Stadium for a few quick shots, and then to one of my favorite hidden spots for some more dramatic photos.

We had a great time wandering Cleveland and getting to know each other a bit more. I can’t wait to photograph their wedding at the Aviator Club in July!

Melissa and Cody | A Whispering Trees Manor Wedding

Melissa and Cody first contacted me back in January of 2020 to photograph their wedding later that year. As we all know, 2020 had other plans for us. Due to the pandemic, and concerns for Melissa’s father who was diagnosed with ALS, we rearranged things a bit and did a micro-wedding on their original wedding date so that her father could be there and walk her down the aisle. Now that the pandemic is mostly in our rear-view mirror and we can safely gather again, Melissa and Cody gathered up all of their family and friends to do it again and celebrate the way weddings are supposed to be celebrated.

Since that micro-wedding in 2020, Melissa and Cody welcomed a beautiful baby girl into the world. Unfortunately, Melissa’s father passed, but we were able to witness a father-daughter dance between Melissa and her father by video. It was a bitter-sweet moment and there was not a dry eye in the place by the end.

Melissa and Cody, thank you for trusting me to document your wedding not once, but twice. I was honored to be able to preserve such meaningful and beautiful moments for you. Here are a few of my favorite photos from your day.

Kayla and Matt | An Irons Mill Farmstead Wedding

Kayla and Matt invited their friends and family to witness their vow exchange at Irons Mill Farmstead in New Wilmington, PA. The happy couple could not have asked for a more picturesque day. We were treated to blue skies and sunshine during the day and a gorgeous sunset in the evening.

This was the first wedding I’ve had the pleasure of photographing that included “beer boys” who handed out beers to friends and family before the ceremony. The couple shared their own vows and exchanged rings before sharing a first kiss as husband and wife.

After the ceremony and some family photos, the reception began with Kayla and Matt cutting their wedding cake, which was made by none other than the bride herself! And a gorgeous, and delicious, cake it was.

After dinner the talented DJs from Keystone Entertainment kept the party going late into the night.
